So after some trials and tribulations the doctors let John out of the hospital last Wednesday afternoon. They had to operate to get the feeding tube back. This has been fine but he’s been fatigued.

We met with the consultant today and she said that the chemo is completed and that John will have three more treatments of something called traustuzumab. He’s been having that in small doses alongside the chemo and now he’ll just have this drug. He also had a blood infusion.

The next treatment is New Year’s Eve where we will chat to the consultant. She hopes he’ll be starting to feel better by then.

Update on knitting projects – lots of socks basically.
