John had his last chemo on Wednesday. Apparently the chemo has been working too well and has caused hole between his tumour and his lung. This means they need to wait until that sorts itself out so he won’t be having the radiotherapy until after Christmas.

We ended up in the emergency department on Friday as the feeding tube had moved a bit and when I gave him water it went into his lungs. Certainly took a while, he was there from 4 until 930. The doctor from Glasgow couldn’t believe we were having to sort all the feeding machine by ourselves. She’s been here 3 months and can’t wait to go home. Can’t say I blame her there are a lot of very special people in Hutt hospitals ED.
