We found out two weeks ago that John’s cancer is back and that he has a couple of tumours that have started pushing on his oesophagus. He’s been doing a series of scans and had a biopsy to determine the type of cancer and if it’s anywhere else.
We found out yesterday that it isn’t anywhere else in the body, they think they can treat it and its oesophagus cancer. He’s on a feeding tube as he was finding it difficult to eat and the doctors are trying to get him to put some weight on. Currently weighs in at 65 kg (10 stone).
John starts chemo tomorrow and that will happen every two weeks for a couple of months. It should shrink the tumour so the feeding tube can come out. After that if all is going well it will be radiotherapy to completely kill the cancer.
On another happier note – I tried Gordon’s Ramsay’s Crab and Corn soup as my new recipe for the week it was delicious. Also, my new hips are working pretty well, and I played some more golf and was ok at it.

Well that sucks guys . I’m so sorry to hear this . Well John, you have to put that weight on so you can make a good recovery . Thinking of you all, anything you need let me know if I can help. XOX🥰
