Surgery is meant to happen today – around 1 pm – my friend had her surgery cancelled last week due to a tiny cut. Hence the reason I’ve said “meant to happen today”.

Last night I had to have a shower and use these disinfectant wipes over my body before retiring into clean sheets and pj’s next to the manky Scotsman. Also had to put this huge swab thing with iodine up my each nostril for 30 seconds – was gross. Then repeated the shower, disinfectant, swab stuff again this morning. I was worrying about getting this done the other night – and then I rolled over my hip joints all crunched. I know I have to get this sorted.

Last weeks challenge was an MRI as I’m claustrophobic – the doctor had given me lorazepam to take the edge off. It seemed to work though as I didn’t have a freak out.
