We headed into Wellington hospital at 2:00 pm, as instructed. Lots of questions and tests. Some pretty scary risks and side effects listed – after all it is brain surgery

John is the first cab off the rank tomorrow and the surgeon thinks I will get a call when he’s in recovery – probably about lunchtime.

We were told that the surgeon bumped other surgeries scheduled for tomorrow to operate on John after he reviewing his scan.

We have worked out signals if it all turns to custard. So I should know when he’s saying any of the following “Shut the fuck up”, “Stop it”and “Get fucked”. So I think we are covered. 😆
