Thought I would update people on where we are at. John is likely to be in hospital for the next 2-3 weeks. He has at least two more procedures to change and remove the vacuum sponge. He won’t be allowed out until he has started eating and they have proven his stomach is working as expected.
He will be allowed out on short stints during the day – they have suggested that next week he may be allowed out for longer than that.
Next operations is scheduled for Friday.

Hi Lisa, thanks for your updates, it really helps to know how John’s doing, warts and all. Hope Alana, Gemma and Rory enjoyed their birthdays and their party…you’re a brave woman to have a teenage party! Sorry to hear about your uncle Richard, that must have been a shock for you and your mum.
