John had the first of a series of minor operations to fix the leak. He had a vacuum sponge inserted over the leak which is supposed to make the healing process faster. He’s going to be in hospital for at least another week – maybe longer. He’s up to having visitors. He will be nil by mouth for another couple of weeks. He’s going ok – been a bit of a setback but at least we know what the problem is now and they are trying to fix it. There was talk of the doctors letting him out for a couple of hours on Sunday – but I’m not sure that will happen. Have a lovely long weekend everyone. 🙂
