John had a scan his morning and the join looks like it’s sealed. He’s allowed more water and he may get jelly this weekend and soft food Monday. He’s still on oxygen for his collapsed lung and loads of drains and tubes hanging out of him, though he said there are less and they are weaning him off the drugs.

Nurse BF found two pieces of rubbish on floor in John’s room and didn’t get to enjoy the rugby last night because of two parents letting a whole team of kids run riot – oh dear.
