Visited John in the morning and he was feeling quite well the physio had him up walking with a zimmer frame and he managed a smile for the camera. Still loads of tubes hanging out of him.
The kids and I came back this evening and he was in a bit of pain – plus having loads of us in the room I think was a bit much…. that’s the problem when you have that many kids – it’s like a tribe arriving. Especially as they were wanting to tell jokes and it hurts him to laugh. He will be out of the ICU tomorrow and in a normal room – maybe it won’t seem like we have taken over the whole room when we visit tomorrow :-|.
