Last Wednesday in the middle of the night John’s tube for the feeder came out. On the Thursday the district nurse wanted John to be admitted as she was concerned about the tube and the amount of time he was sleeping.
After some time in the emergency department and a couple of cracks at putting the tube in that failed they found him a bed. He was in ED from 1pm-10pm.
Friday night they finally got the tube in and started running some additional tests. He has had a fever on and off since the weekend, doctors are trying to find the cause.
He won’t be doing his chemo treatment tomorrow and is likely to be in hospital for next couple of days. We have a meeting with the doctors on Thursday to find out what happens next

Arghhh, that’s tough Lisa. Hugs and Chardonnay/Chia xx
