Six weeks

I am still using 1 crutch as I limp without it. Met with the surgeon today he said everyone’s different when I said I wasn’t expecting to still need a crutch. He also said with the method he uses some people end up with a limp for up to a year. πŸ˜‘. He also pointed out that my new hip has made my leg longer.

I asked about the gym and cycling. He said yep so lots of things to make your muscles stronger. Lots of exercises with low weights is the way to go.

Golf he said just do chipping and putting practice to start. So maybe he’s seen me play πŸ˜‚. I had planned the driving range this weekend but he said build up to that over the next few weeks – sigh. So maybe longer than I thought until I am back to golf. ⛳️

No real achievements this week. Caught the bus and drove my self. Whippee no longer relying on other people

Knitting update. Finished 1 pair of socks and started another.
