Coming up week 3

Well I’m doing pretty well, and have been doing my exercises. So I can now:

  • Walk without a limp using only one crutch (thanks for the push Roz). I still do the stairs with two – I’m not mad
  • Walk for about 20 minutes at one time – walked the length of Queensgate yesterday. Need to build up so I can do a round of golf.
  • I’m pretty masterful with the sock put on thing – though I can bend down now and pick stuff off the floor.
  • Can dry all of my legs Still wearing slippers but in Lower Hutt no one notices that.
  • Did my first week back at work. It was from home with rest breaks I was pretty tired at the end of the week.
  • Have been doing the occasional walkies with Serena. Have not attempted our driveway yet.
  • I have watched quite a few movies. Knitted 1 and a half sleeves of a jersey. Fucked up a lace shawl and knitted the foot of a sock.
