No skin breaches so the operation went ahead. I’d been told the wrong arrival time so it all felt really rushed when I got here but also no time for me to fester about it.

I had a spinal anaesthetic for the operation and the last thing I remember is the surgeon trying to tuck my wobbly stomach in so they could bolt me to the table.
When I woke up I was in pain as the spinal had worn off on my left side ( dodgey hip side). They gave me morphine but it affected my respiration. So they gave me something else which made the room spin.
Anyway I was good by the time I got to the ward and had a lovely omelette while my boys watched on. 😀
Haven’t been out of bed yet. Will let you know when I start moving

Hope you had a great sleep. On your way to a pain free Lisa😊

Wishing you all the best. Take it easy when you get the go-ahead to get out of bed and thereafter.
You look well considering all the hassle! 🌹
Take care,
