It’s a bit of a waiting game just now. The biopsy results from the tumour will take about a week and a specialty team will discuss what John’s treatment plan is on Tuesday. Someone will ring him with the decisions from that meeting (we think)

If the biopsy comes back and indicates the cancer came from a previous cancer then John won’t be allowed to drive for 3 years, if its a new cancer then it’s no driving for 1 year. A long time either way – John’s not really your public transport kind a guy.

The next meaningful date for us is the appointment with the oncologist 12th of August which will give John and I a chance to ask a raft of questions that we have building up.
