As part of John’s initial surgery his oesophagus was injected with boxtox – it apparently helps with something to do with the surgery – stiffens it up maybe :-). Southern Cross rang John the other day to say they weren’t going to cover the cost of the boxtox during the surgery as it was a cosmetic procedure. So can you see how improved this oesophagus looks now? What a bunch of “wankers”.

John is currently looking a hunger strike survivor, isn’t feeling hungry and of course is lacking in energy. The doctor has given him some special energy drinks and told him to graze throughout the day. Hopefully that works and he starts putting back on some weight.
