“FFS!”

Took John back into the hospital this evening and I said “what’s the bet they have forgotten you are coming in?”. We arrive and the first nurse we saw was surprised to see John on ward 7 north. We got sent down to SAPU (surgical assessment and preparation unit). They were expecting John so there is a good start and he was allocated a bed πŸ˜ƒ.

We waited about 10 minutes before the nurse came back asking about John’s feed and medication. So the nurse wanted the feed chart the nutritionist had written up for the hard of thinking. As we didn’t have it with us she couldn’t give John his feed. Do they not keep anything online? She rang the Registrar and the nurses who had been looking after John but no one would give the ok to put him on the feed so they are going to put him on an IV instead, once some one gives the ok – sigh. He has to give himself his medication (prescribed by Wellington hospital last Friday) as they couldn’t get the ok to administer that either. FFS. Second day off the chardonnay so I just felt like ripping all their stupid faces off
