The scans have revealed a leak that wasn’t picked up previously. John is having a gastroscopy just now where they will put a camera down his throat to confirm and establish how big the leak is. He’s booked in for an operation on Friday morning where they will either put in vacuum sponge to heal the wound. Or they may put a stent in depending on what they find today. He is up to having visitors and is sick of the sight of his hospital bed. Hopefully now they have discovered what’s wrong he will be on the mend.
